Since 2003, we have been organizing the finest walking holidays in Ireland. We organize self guided walking holidays in the Cork and Kerry mountains in South West Ireland, and also in the Wicklow mountains, south of Dublin on the east coast.
All of our walking holidays include the following:
You can choose from our self guided inn to inn walking holidays, or from a single center walking tour in Dingle, Kenmare, Glendalough or Castletownbere. Our hiking vacations range from easy to strenuous so you can choose whichever level suits you best. Our self-guided walking holidays are based along the famous Wicklow Way, Dingle Way, Kerry Way and Beara Way hiking trails.
All of our self guided walking tours include a transfer from the local airport or local train station on your arrival. We also provide weatherproof walking notes, weather proof maps, guidebooks and the use of a cell phone and walking poles while on your hiking tour. Also included are all luggage transfers, breakfasts, packed lunches and any transport and backup required during your holiday.
Our walking tours give you the freedom to set your own pace during the day, while looking forward to a special place to stay each evening. Our center based walking holidays give you the chance to stay and enjoy local hikes around four of the most beautiful locations in Ireland.
Our guesthouses are carefully chosen so you can enjoy friendly and knowledgeable hosts, scenic locations, good food and a great nights sleep. All of them are either on, or within a few minutes of your walking route.
So join us in 2023 and enjoy a most memorable walking experience with peace of mind and great comfort too. With our extensive local knowledge we are on hand to support you at all times during your walking holiday.
We look forward to welcoming you on one of our great walking holidays soon.
The 162km Dingle Way offers perhaps the finest scenery of all the long distance walks in the West of Ireland. With the ocean never far from view, you can enjoy magnificent peaks and rolling hills with offshore islands providing a dramatic backdrop.
The Kerry Way is deservedly Ireland’s most famous long distance walk as well as its longest. This 215km walking route loosely follows the route of the Ring of Kerry. The Killarney National Park, Valentia Island, Caragh Lake and the Skellig Islands are some of the many highlights.
The Wicklow Way, Ireland’s longest established hiking trail is 131km long is our largest upland region. Stunning Glendalough Valley, Ireland’s highest waterfall at Powerscourt, and the pretty village of Ennikserry are some of the highlights
Of all the long distance walks in Ireland, the 206km Beara Way offers perhaps the greatest escape from modern life. Even for the west of Ireland, Beara is a world apart and offers a tranquility and peacefulness that has long since vanished in other parts.
