Wonderful Ireland Walking Holidays

Since 2003, we have been organizing the finest walking holidays in Ireland. We organize self guided hiking trips along the famous Dingle Way, Beara Way, Wicklow Way and Kerry Way.

All of our walking holidays include the following:

You can choose from a wide range of self guided inn to inn walking holidays. Our hiking vacations range from easy to strenuous so you can choose whichever level suits you best.

Our Dingle WayKerry Way and Beara Way walking holidays are based in the South West of Ireland. While our Wicklow Way walking holidays are on the east coast south of Dublin.

All of our self guided walking tours include a private transfer from the local airport or local train station on your arrival. We also provide weatherproof walking notes, hiking maps, guidebooks and if required walking poles while on your hiking tour. We also provide a local SIM card with free calls for your cell phone if required.

Also included are luggage transfers each day between the guesthouses, breakfasts each morning and packed lunches when there are no suitable options that day. As you hike we are only a phone call away if you need any help.

Our walking tours give you the freedom to set your own pace during the day, while looking forward to a special place to stay each evening.

Our guesthouses are carefully chosen so you can enjoy friendly and knowledgeable hosts, scenic locations, good food and a great nights sleep. All of them are either on, or within a few minutes of your walking route.

So join us in 2024 and enjoy a most memorable walking experience with peace of mind and great comfort too. With our extensive local knowledge, we are on hand to support you at all times during your walking holiday.

We look forward to welcoming you on one of our great walking holidays soon. The Wonderful Ireland Team

Dingle Way Ireland

The 162km Dingle Way offers perhaps the finest scenery of all the long distance walks in the West of Ireland. With the ocean never far from view, you can enjoy magnificent peaks and rolling hills with offshore islands providing a dramatic backdrop.

Caragh River near Glenbeigh

The Kerry Way is deservedly Ireland’s most famous long distance walk as well as its longest. This 215km walking route loosely follows the route of the Ring of Kerry. The Killarney National Park, Valentia Island, Caragh Lake and the Skellig Islands are some of the many highlights.

The Wicklow Way, Ireland’s longest established hiking trail is 131km long is our largest upland region. Stunning Glendalough Valley, Ireland’s highest waterfall at Powerscourt, and the pretty village of Ennikserry are some of the highlights

Beara Healy Pass View

Of all the long distance walks in Ireland, the 206km Beara Way offers perhaps the greatest escape from modern life. Even for the west of Ireland, Beara is a world apart and offers a tranquility and peacefulness that has long since vanished in other parts.
