The Dingle Way offers perhaps the finest scenery of all the long distance walks in the West of Ireland. With the ocean never far from view, you can enjoy magnificent peaks and rolling hills with offshore islands providing a dramatic backdrop. The way also enjoys some of the best beaches and coves to found on the west coast. Western Dingle is an Irish speaking (Gaeltacht) area and is rich in history and culture with a strong archaeological heritage. The Dingle Way manages to encompass all the great elements of the peninsula and is blessed with delightful villages along its route. The way travels from village to village where you enjoy cosy pubs and a lively traditional music scene.

The Wicklow Way trails through the largest mountainous region in Ireland and lies south of the capital, Dublin. The region offers some of the best walking in Ireland. The Wicklow Way, Ireland’s longest established hiking trail is 127km long and ascends some 3,200 meters along its journey. The way can be walked in sections over a few days or with a week or more it can be walked in its entirety. Highlights include Powerscourt, Enniskerry, breathtaking views over Lough Tay and Lough Dan, looking down on the highest waterfall in the country and Glendalough, the fifth century monastic city situated in the most beautiful valley in Ireland. The Wicklow Way begins in Marley Park at the foothills of the Dublin Mountains.
