The Covid-19 pandemic has been a difficult time for everyone. In Ireland the Covid vaccination program is going extremelly well in Ireland with over 94% of the adult population having been fully vacinated as of the end of November 2021. While we will continue to monitor the latest developments, we are delighted to make your 2022 reservation and you can of course change the reservation to a later date should it not be possible to travel due to Covid 19.
You can keep up to date with the latest Irish Government advice and requirements at https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/b4020-travelling-to-ireland-during-the-covid-19-pandemic/ and travel within the European Union at reopen.europa.eu/en .
While we are at present taking booking, all bookings made would be dependent on Irish Government restrictions at the time. Please note that you may be asked to wear a mask in all indoor public areas in Ireland and this includes in common areas in your guesthouses and on the transport that is provided.
Due to the ongoing restrictions due to Covid-19, we are offering greater flexibility with all bookings in 2022.
When you book a holiday with Wonderful Ireland in 2022
1. You are free to change the date of the holiday for any reason at any time up to two weeks before the start of the holiday. So if your holiday was to start on the 20th September 2022, you could change the date at any time up to the 4th September 2022 depending on availability.
2. There is no charge or fee for making a change of date.
3. The price of your holiday remains the same if you change it to any other date in 2022.
4. If necessary you can change the date of your holiday to 2023 at no extra charge
We just ask that you let us know your intention to change your holiday at least two weeks before the start date of the holiday.
Within two weeks of your start date our normal terms and conditions apply. These conditions are as follows. If your holiday is changed 7 to 14 days before the start of the holiday, then a 50% refund is possible. If changed with 7 days before the start of the holiday then no refund is possible.
However, if a sudden new Irish Government restriction was applied within two weeks before the start date of your holiday that prevented your holiday from taking place, then you would be free to reschedule your holiday to another date at no extra charge in 2022 or 2023. If you prefer you can also request a refund (exclusive of the 20% booking deposit).
So if due to a sudden change the Government of Ireland imposed a new law (travel restriction) within 14 days before the start of your holiday that prevented you from travelling to or within Ireland, you can change your holiday date to another date in 2022 or 2023 at no extra charge, or request a refund (exclusive of the 20% booking deposit).
